Miki Maxey started Miki's Flowers
in 1994. After having completed her BA at The Evergreen State College
and her masters degree at Chapman University, she began a floral
business that caters to weddings, corporate weekly
accounts and special events.
In addition to running a busy firm, she taught courses at the Floral
Design Institute of Seattle.
Much of her talent stems from the training and diligence of her Japanese mother, a florist for over 30 years. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Miki has lived in many countries including Thailand, Morocco and Germany. Her international experiences reflect in her artistic appreciation of unique contemporary floral designs.
This has helped her to accommodate the individuality of each client's tastes and needs.
